I graduated this December from UC Berkeley in Cognitive Science (a combination of Psychology, Linguistics, Computer Science, Philosophy, and Neuroscience), History, and Italian Studies. During college, I tutored children from elementary through high school in a variety of Bay Area settings. I also worked in a Child Cognition Lab with preschool aged children. I am currently working for a UC College outreach program during some school hours and tutoring but my schedules for both are rather flexible. I teach preschool Sunday school at a nondenominational church in Oakland (regenerationweb.com) and work in both San Francisco and Oakland. I love working with kids and am condsidering teaching elementary school (or high school History) for a few years before graduate school. I babysat extensively from the time I was in sixth grade until I came to college but have not had much time during college and would love to get back into it. I look forward to meeting you and your children!
