I am currently in my last Undergraduate semester at San Francisco State University, majoring in Child Development - Concentration: Young Child and Family. During the school year, I work as an Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant and Substitute at SFSU's Early Childhood Education Center. Last summer, I enjoyed art, science and the outdoors as a Team Leader for Pre-K/Kindergartners at Camp Galileo's Woodside location. I have always been surrounded by kids. Being the eldest of three siblings, I was always "mom's helper" with my younger siblings. A big fan of the "Babysitter's Club" books, I began babysitting for neighborhood families for a little cash at the age of 14. My babysitting "business" flourished throughout high school, babysitting regularly for more than 4 families in one year. During summers, I also volunteered at local daycare/preschool centers and as a camp counselor.  My original studies at SFSU took me away from the children for awhile in Read more the past few years, thinking Business Admininstration was the place for me. However, my passion came back to working with kids, and thus, my current major of study.
