I am available pretty much anytime for now.  Days/Nights and even an occasional weekend is perfectly fine for babysitting. I can housesit anytime and most anywhere as long as I am staying in the house. I will pet sit in Pierce county only (unless I am staying in the house.)  I am dependable and happy person who loves kids and pets. I believe that all playing can be learning and when children (and pets too!) are having fun they learn more easily. I can make a kite with paper and slime with a laundry cleaner! I am an above average cook and find kids have fun and are proud of their cooking results (not just cookies!) I am a good housekeeper and you can bet if I am watching your house it will be clean and vacumed when you get back. I love all types of animals and take their Read more welfare very seriously. I even went to the avian vet BEFORE I got my bird to make sure I knew what my responsabilites would be. I have 2 snakes, a Blue and Gold Macaw, and we are getting ready to adopt a lizard and when I was young I even had a monkey! I have had fresh and large salt water fish tanks and take care of the transients that we all seem to find ( or the ones that find us) I feed several ferel cats.   I prefer to sit for children that are fully potty-trained. I will understand an occasional accident, but I am just not a diaper person. I feel I do best with middle aged children (how funny does that sound!) between 5 and 10. Completely able to communicate but not have too much of an attitude (usually.) They have open minds and an ability to not feel uncomfortable coloring a girraffe blue. I believe in old fashioned values. Please and thank you, yes and no sir or maam are very important to me. I was raised during the most impressionable years by my grandparents and had a father in the Navy. Manners are a requirement not an option. Eating fried chicken with your hands is great, eating rice with those same hands, not so much. I am an older person (45) who didn't have kids so I have adopted those that I have come in contact with.
