My name is Ania, I am currently a student of Cape Cod Community College. My major is dental hygiene. After a couple of years of attending BCC in Fall River, taking prerequisites I was accepted to CCCC. I also graduated from university in Poland, major in marketing. Currently I’m working in Nursing Home in Taunton as a Nurse’s Aid, so I am certified in CPR as a healthcare provider. Before I started working as a CAN, I have taken care of children for 7and 5 years since 2001 until 2008. I changed my profession, because I wanted to explore other types of care giving (different ages.) I love my job either as a child care giver or elderly care giver. I’m very caring and passionate person. Unfortunately I can no longer work in nursing home because due to soon start of my classes my schedule must Read more be more flexible than the one they offer at my work place. Summer time I would like to work PT or FT. Starting in September I would rather work PT or work few hours here or there (couple hours after school or weekend/night sitting.) I like spending lots of time playing outdoors or just sit on the floor and play fun games with kids from board games to building blocks or car races. Coloring and reading books are my favorite things to do with kids. I worked with kids of different ages, so I feel comfortable with babies, toddlers, and above. I have a few excellent references from privies employers – mothers of the kids I took care before, also from my RN manager from current job in nursing home.
