Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile! I'm looking for a 20-40 per week summer nannying position, and will have full-time availability starting mid-May until the end of August.  I can also pick up some additional weekend evening sitting, during the same time period.  I am pursuing an MSW in Social work, and this is the summer between my 1st and 2nd years. I'm a very experienced babysitter: I started at 11 as a mother's helper, and babysat throughout highschool, then spent a couple of years between undergrad (BA in Comparative Literature from NYU) and my first round of graduate school (MA in Education from Northwestern) nannying. I've worked extensively as a tutor, and now I'm back in social work school at NYU.  I've worked with pretty much every age including infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, and have sat for only children, two year old twins, and even Read more a family with four children.  As a social work student, I counsel kids ages 5-11 at a school, and have taken classes in child development. I am a creative and responsible babysitter who loves reading stories, going to the park or beach, playing games of make-believe, and engaging children! I'm experienced enough that difficult situations do not faze me, but still love to be energetic and downright silly.
