Hello, my name is Shelly-Ann. I am a 27yrs old experienced 7yrs babysitter/nanny with children ages newborn to schoolaged, with an emphasis with newborns and toddlers throughout the years. I studied biology in undergrad and would love to pursue a career in pediatrics. Honesty and respect are of the utmost importance to me and I try to be honest as well and give respect in turn, no matter what age. I try my best to keep a happy balance and environment around kids, and although I am very easy going (I am told by everyone that I have a very pleasant disposition :), I am firm and I make sure the important things are always taken care of first. I am also a very clean person, so it's in my nature to clean and tidy (although I do not do full housekeeping).

Shelly-Ann has been our nanny since June 2011 and it is with a sad heart that we now have to say good bye. She is amazing with our son, a 24-week preemie (born 4 months early) who came home from the hospital on oxygen, after 5 months in the NICU. He had many doctors and therapist appointments over the past year and Shelly was an amazing schedule-keeper, assisting me with organizing and being efficient about our day. She is very dependable and self assured. Though I work form home, Shelly virtually ran the household while she was there, taking care of our son's needs and keeping him a happy and healthy little guy, all while allowing me to focus on my job. It was a great year and a half with Shelly, but we are saying good-bye for now only because our son will be entering a school in September to further enhance his therapy and get him "caught up" to his peers. Shelly-Ann is completely trustworthy and smart, anticipating our son's needs; we highly recommend her.
