I grew up in a family of animal lovers who had a particular affinity for birds and horses. I have owned and cared for waterfowl, chickens, pigeons, finches and small parrots. Additinally, I have owned and/or cared for dogs, cats, horses, small mammals and fish. I have also worked as a dog sitter/walker for sometime while I was living in Rome. Beyond that, until my recent move to New York, I spent several years as a volunteer for a cat rescue, fostering cats and kittens of all sorts. I am currently the owner of a particularly awesome guinea pig.
