I currently have two playful and mischievous dogs named Charlie and Millie. Charlie, a 3 year old Shepherd Lab mix has a ridiculous amount of puppy energy, although he is a big 90 pound baby. Millie, our Bassett/Lab mix is the love of my life. She is the cutest,sweetest thing in the world and wants nothing more than having her belly rubbed. I rescued Millie and Charlie from a shelter in North Carolina where they were scheduled to be euthanized via gas in 2 days. Apparently (and I say this only because you would never be able to tell) Charlie was Millie's puppy, and he was only 5 weeks when I got him. We also have a cat named Honey who gets along famously with both dogs. 
Growing up my family has also had a Bassett Hound, a German Shepherd, a Terrier mix, and several cats, fish, hamsters, a Guinea Pig, and a rabbit.
