April applied to be a petsitter for my dog while we are away but she cancelled a day before i had an early morning flight to attend a funeral service in Portland. She had the gall to accuse me of wanting to leave my dog with her and never come back for him because she stumbled across an advert from a shelter. The dog was a similar breed with the same name but it was ALREADY in a shelter so how could it be the same dog that she saw in my house. It completely boggles my mind! I would understand if she would have told me straight up that she changed her mind about petsitting him. But no, she had to wait till a couple of hours before she was due to pick him up to spring it on me. I find that completely unprofessional of her.
April worked for us for a few months. She interacted well with my baby and 7 year old while working for us. She also helped out with some house keeping. But her biggest challenge was that she would call at the very last moment if she could not make it. And finally she quit without giving us any notice at all
