I am available to the DC and Arlington area families to provide day or evening babysitting. I was a former full-time nanny for about a year and have been babysitting since I was 13 (Currently 30). Whether you have a newborn or five school-aged children, the job is important to me. Reliable transportation available. Please e-mail me or call if you have any questions about my background. Allison has done an excellent job watching our 4mo old daughter, she is clearly very knowledgeable with infants. She leaves behind simple notes detailing the times of bottles, naps, and fussiness, which have really helped us nail down a schedule. She is prompt to appointments, quick to respond to messages, and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

Allison is a great sitter! She's great with my 10 week old son. She has a great ability to calm him and get him to nap when he's fussy. She's also very prompt and trustworthy. I'm very lucky to have found such a wonderful sitter!

Allison babysat for us at least 1/2 dozen times and we were extremely pleased with her; she was our definite first choice sitter. In the run up to the holidays, we booked Allison for 3 dates in December. I spoke with her the day before the first of the 3 dates to reconfirm and all was fine. Next day, Allison never showed up. It's now been almost two weeks and I have left numerous emails, text messages and voice mails for Allison. None of them have been responded to. After our initial panic that this woman was hurt and my repeated Internet/ news searches to make sure there were no reports of injured women in the area, my concern has turned to disappointment and anger.

Allison has done a wonderful job with our one-year-old daughter. She's very responsible, punctual, and has really enjoyed getting to know our daughter and her needs -- even getting a child at the peak of her separation anxiety stage to bed without a peep, which even her grandparents couldn't do! She's also been available to help us out in a bind several times, for which we couldn't be more thankful. I feel totally at ease with her watching our daughter, and have been so appreciative that we found her.

Allison was fantastic. She was reliable and had great communication throughout setting up our appointment. She travelled all the way from Arlinton VA to our home near Bethesda, MD. She was prompt and had a great evening with our daughter. Instead of TV time, she played games and made sure that our daughter was in bed on time. Reliable and recommended!
