Hello Moms and Dads!                                               Updated August 8th, 2010         My name is Lesley and I am a 29 year old registered nurse with a B.S.N (graduated from Northeastern University in May of 2004).  I started my nursing career as a Labor and Delivery nurse; I have also done work as a pediatric private duty nurse and have gone on travel assignments to Hawaii and New Hampshire.  I am currently working part-time with the elderly population in order to expand my resume (turns out I enjoy this as well!) and am starting graduate classes at UMASS Boston in September.       Although I do enjoy caring for people of all ages,  caring for familes with infants and toddlers has always been a passion of mine.  I have always had a special interest early childhood education as well as the health, growth and developement of young children and babies.  I am comfortable working with any child with special needs (physical or emotional) or premature infants and find it rewarding to help them grow and thrive.   I Read more am currently available part-time for newborn care, childcare, and new-mom care in your home.        I understand how difficult it can be entrusting your newborn or older child to a stranger.   One of my greatest strengths is taking the time to develop a certain comfort level with parents so that they can take a break without having to worry if their precious child is in good hands!  Excellent references upon request, of course.
