hello :) My name is Kim and I am 29 years old and am a recent graduate of Simmons College, with a major in nursing! I am also a 2007 graduate of Assumption College, where I majored in Social Rehabilitation Counseling and Services. I recently spent the summer working as a Registered Nurse at Camp Wonderland in Sharon, MA., and start working as a nurse at a rehabilitation facility in Westborough in September, for patients that need extra physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing and medical care after being discharged from the hospital, but are not quite ready to go home yet! I will be working 32 hours a week at this position, and am looking for some extra work while not on shift! Between graduating from Assumption College and beginning Simmons full time, I spent 5 years working as a special needs teacher at the New England Center for Children Read more in Southborough, MA. While a teacher, I worked with autistic children in both the classroom and residential settings. I enjoy working with kids, both those with disabilities and those without! If you have school aged children who have homework, I am more than able and willing to help! I am able to help with history, math (through calculus), English, science (Earth science, Biology, Chemistry), and Latin (although it may be a bit rusty. I took 6 years of latin in grades 7-12, and 2 semesters at Assumption). As a former special education teacher, I can also help with study skills. As a nurse, I am certified in CPR by the American Heart Association. I enjoy cooking and do not mind at all cooking for children, and would not mind doing some housework, whether it be dishes, laundry, cleaning bathrooms, organizing, etc, when the kids are napping, sleeping, busy doing homework or whatnot.
