Hello! My name is Beth Nicholson and I currently I work full-time as an Events Manager and babysit regularly as a second part-time job. I have been sitting for the same families for 8 years, but unfortunately they are all growing up and don’t need me as much anymore! So I am looking for new families to form relationships with. Here is a little bit about me.   I graduated from Wilkes University in May of 2002 and moved to Boston to start my career.  While I was in school I worked as a lifeguard at the Catholic Youth Center teaching swim lessons to 2-8 year olds as well as general guard duties.  I am CPR and first aide certified renewed as of 1/09.  In addition, I worked as consoler with the CYC’s after school program helping school aged kids (ages 6-13) with their homework, organizing games, and keeping the Read more peace.    Once I moved to Boston and began working full time I realized that I missed being around kids, but sitting would be a great flexible fit.  Eight years ago I began regularly sitting for two families The Alperts (Sara 11, Justin 9) and the Ericksons (Talia 9, Aidan 8).  It’s been great, I love kids and I love to have fun.  I’ve babysat for a few other families here and there with children from ages 5 mo-11 years.   I am mature, responsible, non-smoking, dependable 29 year old with my own transportation and I would love the opportunity to speak with you more about your families needs.  I can be reached through email bethr305@hotmail.com or on my cell phone anytime 617-894-4427.  Hope to hear from you soon!
