Hi! I'm a 27-year-old Ph.D. student in Child Development at Tufts University, and I have a Master of Education degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I've been babysitting since I was 12 (15 years ago!) and have extensive experience caring for and teaching children of all ages, 0-18, including multiples, and children with disabilities. I have worked as a public school teacher for grades 5-8, as a educational diagnostician and instructional professional for children with learning disabilities, a literacy curriculum designer for Cambridge afterschools, a camp head counselor, and a nanny. I've travelled with families to resorts in Vermont and Puerto Rico, and have stayed with children in the home while parents go away. I love kids, and enjoy engaging them in all sorts of activities, like playing sports, reading stories, doing puzzles, building crafts, and going on trips to parks, beaches, and museums. Beyond babysitting, I am Read more also able to tutor children. My specialty is reading and writing, but I can also teach ESL, test preparation, study skills, French, and other subjects. I am looking for part-time work--perhaps a regular weekday or week night, and the occasional weekend. I have a car and am comfortable driving kids around, and I am fine with pets.
