I'm looking for a few families in the Durham/Research Triangle Area with whom to form a relationship for evening and weekend babysitting. If you'd like to have a reliable and flexible sitter who's available to care for your kids during date night or during the week when both parents have to work late, please get in touch! Due to the fact that I am a full time student I am NOT available from during the day on weekdays, but am available weekday evenings.  While I get out of school no later than 6, please see my availability chart or contact me for exact times as my class hours vary. I have been babysitting since I was thirteen, and I was a part and full time nanny for multiple families during my college years. In the summer of 2007 I did a nanny share with two families. Three days a week I Read more was with an absolutely adorable 18 m.o. and his new born twin brothers and the other two days I spent with a one year old.  In the fall of 2006 I was a driver/companion for a thirteen year old and fifteen year old to their various after school activities. In the summer of 2006 I worked full time for a family with a 19 month old and seven month old twins (all girls). I have done many sporadic weekend babysitting jobs as well. As you can tell, I've cared for children of all ages (from newborns to high schoolers). I was also an assistant teacher, both in a kindergarten in Hartford and in a primary school in Cape Town, South Africa during my study abroad year. My own family has had both dogs and cats, and I was on the equestrian team at school, so I'm comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes. I'm a competent cook, and can bake some pretty great cookies and cakes (if I do say so myself!). I also have held positions where housework (laundry, dishes, etc.) was required, as well as positions that involved me running errands for the family.
