I have babysat for many children at one time (8,7,6 and 3) and (5, and newborn triplets until they were 1.5). I have worked at a day camp for three summers mainly with kindergarteners, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. Summer of 2005 I was an assistant teacher for a pre-K classroom. I love children hence my major studies at school. Since I've been away from home, I've done some babysitting for a local family in Chestnut Hill and two in Newton. I spent the  summers of 2006 and 2007 in the College Park MD area while working at UMD doing linguistics research with preschoolers and volunteering to run a study on adolescent risk taking behaviors through the UMD psych dept. I finished a Master's program in Mental Health Counseling and am currently working in a full-time capacity as a Clinical Supervisor and Therapist on the south shore.  I am currently babysitting Read more approximately 3-5 hours a week for a family with 2 girls (ages 9.5 and 6.5) and 4 hours every other week for another family with a little boy (16 months). I am looking to pick up some week-to-week consistent hours on a specified weeknight and/or daytime or evening weekend hours 1-2x per month.
