Hi! My name is Irma. I'm 24 and have worked as both a certified nurses' assistant and preschool teacher's assistant. I do not have a car, nor a license, but am responsible, prompt and can get around easily on bike or public transportation. I'm hoping to find individual, occasional, sporadic and/or recurring but part time babysitting jobs so please don't hesitate to contact me. I worked at a day care/preschool as a teacher's aide for over a year and a half (I quit for personal reasons) and did it teach me a lot! I learned to keep a level head though stressful situations and with children that may be labeled hard. I helped design and implement the curriculum, set schedules for the children, and came up with Read more activities such as arts and crafts, games, science projects, etc. I also have worked in after school programs for an elementary school (art and crafts, homework, and sports) and at the Chicago Public Library with the summer reading program. Due to my experiences working with residents and patients in a hospital and nursing home and, also, my last job as a nurses' assistant in an apartment building for adults with physical disabilities, I am also qualified for not only elder care, but also disability. I am also great with animals! If you just need a pet sitter, I'm experienced with cats, dogs (small and large), rabbits, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, parakeets, and ferrets. And of course, I don't mind if there are animals in the house for any other job.
