I have over 10 years of experience in childcare (in-home and school settings) with children from 5 weeks to 13 years, including both regular and occasional sitting, overnights, groups of children, and nannying. I am responsible, fun, interactive, and nurturing. I show children respect as people, and they tend to learn to trust me quickly. I have some formal background in child development, especially with toddlers and preschoolers. I have some basic Spanish skills, as well some basic sign language (fingerspelling and some babysigns). I have particular interests (as well as experience) in working with non-traditional families, and would be interested in working with children with disabilities, behavioral issues, or disorders such as autism or SPD, as long as parents are willing to provide guidance. Within the last six months, I have had a negative TB test, a clean criminal background check, and my fingerprints have been registered. I can Read more look into getting a copy of the background check if you would like to see it. Please let me know ahead of time if you have cats, so I can manage my allergy issues. Thank you!
